February Sucks, but my dad rocks!

So, I know I brag about my dad probably too much, but today he did something really nice for me. I was getting ready for work, and got out to my car to start the engine and it didn't even turn over! I called work to tell them I'd be late or not there depending upon how severe my problem was. I'd been taking things out of the back of it the night before so i suspected it was just the battery. so i called my dad and he drove all the way over to my apartment and charged my battery for me. People can be so rude- I'm standing there with my hood up waiting for him, and not one person even offered to help! Maybe i just looked like I had it under control so well that I didn't need any help (yeah right.) So, it was just the battery and more than that, my dad told me that the funny sound I'd been hearing was just the serpentine belt rubbing against the gears and that we could get some lubrication for it and then it'd stop. So two car blessings in one morning- after a big ole' smack down. My jeep is the first thing that I've ever purchased that has payments and is a big responsibility- well, I bought my computer, but that was mostly savings and was paid off really quick- anyways, I've seen my brother try really hard to get a good car and always come up with crap and i did by my jeep without having it inspected by steve- our car guy- so I guess I'm alittle paranoid- and the jerky warranty people still haven't paid me for other repairs. Grrr on them!
